I'm a junior and while I'm obviously not applying this year I'm curious to know what the essay prompts were or what the rest of the application asks/looks like. They seem to keep this information shrouded and I know a lot about the admission processes for the other schools I like but not PU. It is definitely my favorite so far and I want to know want I should expect.

Hi,

You can look at the whole application if you like. Just make a wavenet ID and click "Create application". It will let you skim around//you don't have to apply.

It won't let me because I would be applying next year...

There is a personal statement essay, 300 - 500 words that "expresses your individuality". Short answer essays include one that revolves around the fact that Seaver is a Christian institution..."describe the ways you plan to explore faith and investigate truth during your time at Pepperdine". Second short answer is "describe the creative work that has most influenced you and explain its influence".

Thanks kbl!

Express your individuality? I did not see this one when working on my application! It was asking about global citizenship..

You're absolutely right, andylaws...I stand corrected! Looked at the wrong page..here it is, marie03:

As a Christian university, Pepperdine believes education is a privilege that ideally evokes a sense of global responsibility. Drawing upon your knowledge of current and historical events, your analysis of literary works, or the experiences of your own life, how do you envision your role as a global citizen?

Wow. I must say. I think Pepperdine has the deepest/most difficult questions of any college.

I just finished my essay, it took me two months and hours of concentration.

congrats!! good luck i hope u get in :)
