Question about establishing Eli Account

<p>My son received email instructions to set up his Eli account. He went to the link provided, but then quickly realized he had not received a 9 digit PIN that "should come under separate cover." Does this PIN usually arrive some time after the initial email? We've checked our spamblocker and so far have received no other messages from Yale.</p>

<p>He tried using the 9 digit student ID, and that didn't work.</p>

<p>If anyone has any information on this, he would certainly appreciate it!</p>

<p>Several years ago, my son had a similar issue. I’m not sure if this will still work, but it might be worth a try:</p>

<li><p>Enter your son’s email address of record on his application and press continue.</p></li>
<li><p>Your son should receive his Eli Account ID by email. (Check junk mail foider.)</p></li>
<li><p>Once you have the ID, go to I FORGOT MY ELI ACCOUNT PASSWORD: <a href=“https://fidelis.its.yale.edu/authenticate/ResetAccountWithAccountName_eli-accounts.do[/url]”>https://fidelis.its.yale.edu/authenticate/ResetAccountWithAccountName_eli-accounts.do&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
<li><p>Enter your Eli Account ID and press continue.</p></li>
<li><p>Your son should receive another email with his password.</p></li>

<p>Well, for kicks I tried these steps. Unfortunately, it says the email of record is not tied to an account. I will contact Yale for help. Thanks for trying!!</p>

<p>I have the same problem. I just emailed Yale about it, so we’ll see.</p>

<p>My PIN number came along with my Eli Account instructions. I believe it was the really complicated letter and number combination that came below my name and address.</p>

<p>If their email is not tied to an account, it means that Yale has yet to assign an account for them.</p>

<p>Do anyone of you have the ‘Application Status Page’ in your Eli Account? I activated my account a week and a half ago, except there is no ‘Application Status Page’ at all on my account. I’m starting to worry…</p>
