I just want to make sure it's acceptable for my teachers to use the school recommendation/evaluation form rather than the one provided by MIT. Can anyone verify? The reason I'm asking is because I just checked the MyMIT site and found that my high school transcript and secondary school report were processed yesterday (12/12) but not the evaluations. The problem is, I know that the transcript, school report and the recommendations were all sent in at the same time (through the school) and in the same envelope. Is this an issue? I can't find a phone number or anything on the website for help.

Our form asks some fairly specific questions. Teachers are welcome to use whatever they'd like (even a simple letter with no form at all) as long as they address the questions on our form.

If you go to the MIT webpage and search "admissions" after clicking the "offices" radio button, you will see that all sorts of phone numbers and fax numbers and craziness comes up under "Admissions Office". (Although with this forum available, who needs to call Admissions, right? :))

EDIT: And I wouldn't worry too much about some things being processed and others not being processed. Wait a day or two and see what comes up.

yea... that wait is a lot more bearable than this one

Thanks Mollie, awesome answer
