Thanks, jerzgrlmom!! Sounds encouraging! I put all the documentation in the mail today. I think the hard part for me was the appeal form (page three) where you have to guestimate wages, tips, expenses in such detail! Good luck with your "new" problems and hope you get lots of help! I will not be able to get to Brown to meet with anyone face to face, but they have been nice on the phone when I have called in the past!

Somemom, yes, it is a pain. Sorry it got you too! We had one other error message, when FAFSA saw that we were paying more tax this year, but it let me by without so much of a hassle.

Just discovered my husband didn't include my daughter's workstudy on her worksheet C. Not sure it matters since it's so little (under $1000) but he'll have her redo it since her school doesn't get to the upperclass FA pkgs for awhile. Thanks for bringing this up. It's always something that gets us!

It could make a difference if she has other income - any student income over $3080ish 50% goes to the EFC! So $1000 could make $500 difference (unless she has too little non WS income).

swimcatsmom, good point. Unfortunately, she didn't have summer income since she was off studying abroad in Florence in the summer... She better get a good internship/coop this summer. Anyone in the NJ/NYC area need Graphic Design interns?

Oh - off topic - I am jealous - Studying abroad in Florence - how wonderful!
