Ok, so one of my schools require that I submit my FAFSA by February 2nd. However, my parents will not have their taxes done by that date. As a result, we have to estimate for the FAFSA that I have to submit to that school. Sometime after Feb 2nd when my parents have filed their tax return and I get the official figures, can I submit a correction to the same school and add additional schools for that correction as well? Do you think I should do this or submit my FAFSA to all of my schools by February 2nd and then once I get the official figures, submit a correction to all of them again? Which method is better? Is there really a difference? Thanks for your help :)!

I may be dead wrong, since financial aid is confusing…
but I would estimate it for the February 2 school, and then correct it once it’s done.

It depends on how much later it will take them to complete their taxes to make your choice.
It also depends on the school’s FA policy.
