Question about Fall Grades submit

Ok, they're asking for fall grades, and then they talk about the "7th semester". At myschool the "1st semester" encompasses both the 1st and 2nd marking period which would put the "1st semester" ending during the winter, sometime around january. What is it they want? Our "fall grades" are the 1st marking period which would put it as half of a semester. I am really confused as to what they want.

They're looking for first and second marking period...quarters...whatever you want to call them. Marks through the first half of the year.

oh crap they want those?? ahhhh

WoW4201, I had the same reaction...

yes, they want the first half-year - some schools are later than others - my son's school didn't send his out until February.

Have fun with this - they will also want your 8th marking period grades - the last half of your senior year - by then most of you will be in or out but if you're in you'd better keep your grades up.

Hugh Jass - There is a postcard in the WP instructions for applicants that asks for the school to fill out your courses, grades, cumulative GPA, and cumulative rank in class.
Instructions on the postcard read: Please forward this card only after the seventh semester grades are available. It must be received not later than February 1, 2006.

you know, dont you think it would be better if I just sent the school just sent in my actual report card? Because, there are only 4 slots for the classes (I think), and I am taking more than 4 classes...

I don't think they would accept it...you'll need an official from the school. The academies are strict about this stuff. Aren't you glad you applied? LOL
