question about financial aid

I will transfer after this semester, that means I will go to another school from september.
So how can I apply for the FASFA since I will stay at two different schools in one year ?
Should I add all the school codes which i applied for in my FAFSA application form???

And also what is the cal grant??/ what is that use for???

Fafsa goes by school year. So if you file right now (which you should for priority processing), it will give you aid from Fall 2011 through Spring 2012. This is exactly what you need. When you apply, list all the schools that you have already sent applications to and even list your CC if it’s close and there is any possibility that you might take a class or 2 there after you transfer.

To apply for cal grant, just make sure you fill out your fafsa and then go to your school’s financial aid office and see if they submit your GPA verification automatically or if you have to send it in by mail.

Basically, go to your Financial Aid office and talk with someone there since you seem clueless, no offense.

so you mean if i want to apply for the financial aid , i need to turn in both FAFSA and Cal grant , right?

Cal grants come automatically, but your school has to do a GPA verification.

Does cal grant GPA verification come automatically??? I mean does my school help me to fill it out? or I will fill it out by myself???

Depends on the school… time to use this. Ah. Finally!

[Let me google that for you](<a href=“LMGTFY - Let Me Google That For You”>LMGTFY - Let Me Google That For You)

Lol, that site makes me laugh every time.

I would call your school’s financial aid office. Mine told me that as long as you have 29 units completed at our CC then they would electronically (and automatically) do it for us. I am going in to double check because it wouldn’t be the first time that I messed something up do to inaccurate information… The thing is that it’s up to you make sure. :)
