I am currently working on my writing my statement of purpose and in particular I am writing about why I believe a particular program is a good fit for me.

Obviously the main reason I discuss is that there is a lot of research that I am very interested in, but another factor that draws me to this particular program is that it is relatively small which is something I like. I went to a small undergraduate school and I am more comfortable in that kind of setting. I think it allows the students to get to know many of their professors and their peers better.

Anyways my question is do you think mentioning that size of the school as something that I like about the program would be helpful, harmful or no one would really care?

Thanks!
