USF’s College of Nursing meets all your listed criteria.

I’m a senior and going to FSU College of Nursing in August. I don’t know much about USF and UCF (the only other Florida college I looked into was UF) but I can tell you about FSU’s nursing a little bit.
A few years ago they opened a direct freshmen admission opportunity. Typically, you take all your core classes and then apply to your university’s nursing school at the end of your sophomore year. Admission is COMPETITIVE. interviews, essays etc etc. Its pretty competitive anywhere. However, if you are admitted as a freshmen (and all you have to do for FSU is indicate nursing as your chosen major to be considered) you are automatically in the program and don’t have to worry about applying again. All you have to do is keep your gpa at at least a 3.0, get a C or higher in each class, and be taking the right classes. To me, this is a wonderful opportunity if you start looking into FSU. If not, definitely see if other colleges have this opportunity. Like I said I can’t say much about the other Florida universities but I also know of FSU’s nursing living learning community (UF might have one too).
