Question about forwarding college transcripts

My D is applying SCEA. She is currently taking two college courses at two different colleges and four courses at her high school. I read on another post that Stanford assumes it will not have senior year grades and of course she will not have final grades in these courses by 11/1. However, how will Stanford verify or even know she is enrolled in them and doing well? Her GC can reference she is taking the classes, but D thought it would be a better idea to have each professor write a note about her grades to date and forward that to the GC who could include it with the high school material. Stanford is so strict about not allowing extra materials I wonder if she should? If she asks the colleges to send a transcript, one college will have her current course and a course from last year. THe second college would merely be confirming she is in the class. What do you think?

I had a similar question and checked directly with the Stanford
admissions office. I was surprised to hear that they were not
as "strict" as I thought they were after following the CC forums
carefuly.

They have a few basic common sense suggestiosn but as far as
transcripts other than high school goes they are happy to receive
it as a spearate document in a separate envelope.

She could put that on the app, I think. They would assume that she's not lying. Your daughter's idea is good, too.

I would think that they will just believe her that she is taking those classes, but will expect a transcript with mid-year report when semester ends.

Students accepted to any school can have their acceptance rescinded if the school finds out that they were dishonest in any way on their application, or did not keep up the grades they had at the time of admission decision.
