Question about freshman courses.

I will be starting my year as a freshman in college and was wondering if this is the correct choice for my bioligy pre-med. My advisor advised me to take Bio Fig which includes Gen bio and lab. With this set, should I take as electives general chemistry & lab, physics and calc (I've completed ap calc in high school)? Thanks for reading.

Sounds a little intense. Physics is often delayed until soph/junior year, at least at my undergrad school.

Yeah, I'd try to limit as best you can the number of semesters with 3 science courses (I realize that as a bio major this is probably inevitable at some point). Science courses take a lot of time up, especially if they have labs attached.

I'd suggest that you exchange the physics for an english or intro sociology/psychology course or some other gen ed requirement.

I'm a bio major and my first year consists of bio, chem and humanities. second year - bio, ochem, math, and breadth.
