Question about freshman housing

So i was accepted to Northeastern and am likely to hand in my deposits tomorrow, will i get a better dorm than a kid who hands in his deposit in say april? Is it the sooner the deposit the better housing? And which dorms are generally considered the best for freshman? I'm not in honors, could i still be placed in IV? Are Stetson East/West the best freshman dorms?

Thanks in advance to those who answer my questions.

You could be placed in the IV if you live in an LLC that is housed here. This year, the International and Creative Expressions LLCs are here, but I suppose that could change next year.

I really don’t think it matters.

I sent in my deposits on May 1st and I got a huge single in white hall (best freshman dorm if you ask me)

SW/SE are good because of the dining halls but the rooms are small and jail cell-ish. Plus they’re kinda far from classes.

In general all dorms at NEU are pretty great. Not much to really complain about. I wouldn’t really worry too much about it. Even if you’re not happy freshman yr it get much much better after that.

as a bio major who is looking at northeastern for that more “typical college experience”- which dorm woul be best?
