Question about GE for engineering majors

I got accepted in to Aerospace Engineering and Muir as a transfer student. I saw the GE for Muir and even though it looks like less than the other colleges, it seems like a ridiculous amount of GE classes for engineering majors. So my question is... Are engineering majors required to complete the same GE sequences?

Simple answer: yes.

sidenote: I can’t believe you’re complaining about Muir GEs.

Muir’s GEs are extremely few. Take a look at Revelle’s- that’s what I shall be doing next year, and I’m an engineering major as well.

I wonder why all engineers don’t put Warren as their first choice.

I put Muir, Marshall, Warren, Sixth, Revelle, ERC.

I got sixth, fourth choice. I was bummed at first, but thinking about it now, Warren is pretty much packed with engineering/science majors, whereas from what I’ve seen (on the facebook groups) in sixth college it’s mainly humanities majors, so I think Sixth would have a better social scene haha. Unfortunately, being an EE major, that is probably not the best thing for me…

I think that if you go to UCSD, you go to UCSD. There seems like an equal amount of social/anti-social people in every major.
