Hello:)
I'm currently attending cc and I plan to transfer on Fall 2011(?)
One of my friends said that I should take English 103 (Critical Reasoning and Writing) this summer (before I turn in my application this fall) because UC will ask me whether I took it or not in the application and it might affect the decision or something. Is this true? Do you guys think I should take it during summer? After all...it's English class.............T-T

Oh yea..one more. If you don't get accepted for the first choice major, is it still possible to get in for 2nd choice major (sorry..random question)

btw i want to try out for UCLA or UCI. Thank you~Have a nice day!!:D

Just keep working on the IGETC and your prerequisites. That’s all you need to worry about (which may include that class, check your IGETC).

It’s preferable to the UCs for you to finish your math and English requirements no later than the fall before you transfer but it’s not a requirement (it is a requirement for UCSD TAG though).

UCLA will only let you have a backup major if you did TAP.

You should take the English class during the summer if you can, just because you’ll be able to get it out of the way sooner and you’ll be a stronger writer in the fall and spring. Taking it during the fall won’t hurt you, but taking it in the spring is strongly discouraged.

ohhh icic. Thank you very much!!:)
