So, I know you can't apply EA to Georgetown as well as apply ED to another school. But, I really want to do both. The school I plan on applying to ED lets you apply to other schools EA, and I was thinking, how would Georgetown ever find out I applied to this other school ED? I'm not saying I'm going to do this, but I just wonder if anybody ever has, and what was the outcome?

I did not try this because, knowing that Georgetown had plenty of applicants to choose from, I did not want to take the risk, however small that risk may have been, of losing my spot in the class of 2014 had I decided to apply ED somewhere else while simultaneously applying EA to Georgetown. However, having seen friends go through the ED process, I can tell you that schools will often publish a list of their ED acceptees that they share with their “peer” schools. The admissions offices have ways of finding out, no matter how far you go to cover your tracks, and if it comes out that you violated Georgetown’s EA application policy, your acceptances to both schools will likely be revoked, and you may even lose some of your other acceptances.

Yeah, I figured it’s not worth the risk.

Wait what about applying EA at another school?

You can apply EA to Georgetown and other schools, as long as those schools’ EA policies are not restrictive, i.e. single-choice EA.
