Hi. I know people were saying that students usually take four courses per semester. I was wondering how many thematic option/GE courses we should take per semester. 3 and get them all done freshman year?

Depends on your major and personal preference. Some people like to balance their schedule and take some GE's and some major classes. I wanted to get my GE's out of the way so I took Writ 140 and 4 GE's last year while the other 3 classes were for my major. Some majors need to take certain classes at certain times so their GE's have to wait until later.

As many as your major will allow. If your major gives you time to take them now, do it because they won't give you more time later. If you've got limited time now due to major requirements, only take one or two and parse them out throughout your years there.
