<p>Hmm I’m a little confused here, but if you transfer, the grades likely won’t be calculated in your GPA, but they will still be on your transcript, of course. If you’re going to get a degree in math, you definitely want a more solid foundation than a C’s worth in calculus classes, so it may be to your benefit to re-take the classes and get those grades off your transcript (most universities allow you to re-take the class and overwrite the grade). That is assuming you are retaking these before you transfer. I don’t know what would happen if you do it after you transfer, as it’s uncommon, since most people just care about getting the credit, so I would check with UCD and UCSC.</p>
