<p>If you go from UC to UC then the grades transfer. If you go from any other school to a UC only the units but not the grades transfer. I do not think the UCs will allow you to retake the classes for credit, although you can always retake them at a CC if you just want to learn the material. You’ll have to look into whether a UC school would even let you enroll in those classes.</p>
<p>BTW with the CA budget crisis the UC schools are severely limiting or completely prohibiting people from getting 2nd bachelors degrees.
