Question about getting Rescinded

In March, I received a letter informing me that I was accepted into UCDavis as a Computer Science Major. But lately, I have been very paranoid about getting rescinded because of the likelihood of getting a D in my AP calculus AB class. So here's my question, what is the likelihood of being rescinded from UCD. I know some people will tell me to inform the school, but someone had actually asked in another topic and the school(forgot which one) told him to write an essay explaining why he received a D. Here are my quarter grades

AP Economics :B-
Spanish 3:B- for quarter but is now a 79.23
English 12 CP:A+
Psychology:A-
Literature/Film:A-
AP calculus AB:C-74%

This has lowered my overall GPA (including Freshmen year) from a 3.8 to a 3.73- counting the C i have in Spanish 3

Not sure how gpa figures into being rescinded from a UC, but I would be concerned about getting a D (ie. non-passing grade) in any course. When you applied, you listed your sr schedule, and when your admissions decision was made, UCD made it under the assumption that you would pass all of those classes.

I understand, that is why I’m trying to maintain the grade. I had a B my first semester, but once we went into trigonometric integration, my grade dropped, which is why i have a 74 my third quarter.

I want to say, “don’t sweat it,” as failing a class would normally get you a “shape up,” email demanding an, “I’ll shape up, I promise,” response from you. However, seeing as you were admitted to their CS program, a D in math is a no-no. I’m still not convinced they’ll rescind but you may have some grovelling to do . . .

I don’t have a D yet, but i’m 5 percent away from one. I’m just worried about getting a D

On my UC Davis portal or whatever it’s called it says that I (so it should be the same for you) need to keep my academic performance, and get a C or better in all of my classes. But I don’t know if they for sure rescind you if you get a D. I would think they would let you at least try to explain or that wouldn’t be fair. Just try to keep it as a C and I’m sure everything will be fine! Good luck! (also a slight drop in gpa doesn’t seem like it would mess you up since it happens to a lot of people because of less AP classes available and harder math and senioritis)

My understanding is UCs will rescind for < a C grade.
