So a friend and I bought tickets to go home on Thanksgiving morning. The flight leaves at 7am. I thought I'd be able to take the bart to get to the airport, but I just looked at the bart website and apparently it doesn't leave that early? Eeeep. Help?

I'm not sure if shuttle companies run on holidays, but check those out. http://www.bayporter.com
Call them and ask.

Taxi cab? Shuttle? Of course, you would have to pay more for those two. The bus also goes to the airport. I just don't know how early those operate.

Well, an option would be to check when the last Bart train goes to the airport the day of your flight, if its late enough, then maybe you can spend a couple of hours at the airport... thats just a last case scenario, but definitely trying searching for shuttles that might pick you up.

Supershuttle is one way to go or any of the other shuttle services. I would not recommend that you take the last Bart train with the idea of staying at the airport until your flight as I believe the Oakland airport is not open all night. However looking at the Airport/Bart website http://www2.oaklandairport.com/bart_airbart.shtml it does look like the first bus from the Coliseum Bart station to the airport is at 5 a.m. The first BART train on a weekday from the downtown Berkeley station is at 4:32 and it arrives at Coliseum Bart at 4:54. You should just make the first AirBart bus.

thanks for all the replies!

If you are sharing the taxi, it might be about the same price as two people taking a shuttle -- I've had some slow shuttles, by the way, so give yourself enough time! Taking a bus in the wee hours, especially if you have to wait outside at a bus stop, might not be a great idea.
