I'm just wondering if law school average out your GPA from community college and where you transfer to? Since my GPA at the community college was a 3.2 and my GPA now at the University that i transfer to is 3.8 ( hopefully 3.84 when i graduate this spring). I heard from some people that they only look at your GPA at where you transfer to and not at the community college?

If they do average it out what are my chances at USC and UCLA law school? I haven't taken my LSAT yet. Thank you!

Yes, your LSDAC transcript will average out all of your grades from every single college that you have attended. The law schools will receive this transcript in addition to the transcripts from each school

Hard to say without knowing your LSAT score. I think law schools have their own policies when it comes to giving weight to GPAs from different schools. Your GPA looks pretty decent, so just do great on LSAT and you should have a good chance of making it into UCLA.
For LSAT, take prep classes offered by Kaplan, Princeton Review, etc., if you have money. If you don’t then I think some community colleges also offer prep courses. You can always prepare for the exam on your own and do well. Good luck!

Correct, at least during the admissions process. (Of course, once accepted, official transcripts from all colleges attended must be forwarded to the law school prior to matriculation.)

Not good advice, at least what I read on the other law boards. (These programs are for average students seeking average LSAT scores.) And, unless the OP carries a hook, with a ~3.5 GPA cum, the OP will need a high 160 for the SoCal schools, particularly since the UCs (UCLA) are GPA-focused. (Higher weight on GPA, whereas most law schools place more weight on LSAT.)

OP: yes, all college grades are averaged by LDAS, based on their computations. (Plusses and minuses may be handled differently by LDAS that your college. Repeated course grades are not replaced by LDAS. Etc)

Wow so my chances are pretty slim getting into USC or UCLA law school then even if i get say 160 on the LSAT? Since i got a D in my community college class and had to retake it. And even so if i average out the community college GPA and my University GPA it’ll be like 3.45….
