Question about GPA

Before I list my stats on this site, I need some clarification on GPAs, as we do our averages out of 100.

I heard that a 4.0 unweighted GPA is like a 95 unweighted, thus making a 96 a 4.1 and a 94 a 3.9 and so on.

But other people have told me that a 4.0= 100 unweighted average, making a 3.9 considerably higher.

So how do this work? Thank you very much for clarifying this

A 4.0 is just an A average, I believe.

Which is a 95. . . thank you

It depends on the school.
