<p>I often see people on this site posting their W GPA as 4.7-4.8, while mine is only a 4.27 (yet I have a 4.0 UW GPA and have taken the hardest classes at my school). My school weighs an A in honors as 4.2 and an A in AP as 4.3, so that range of W GPA isn't even possible for to get. My school also does not rank. So I have a couple questions:</p>
<p>How do colleges look at weighted GPA; do they just take the W GPA provided by your high school, or do they reweight it on their own scale?</p>
