Ok, so to get into undergrad schools you basically have 2 options: get in after high school or transfer from a college. Is there somethin like that for graduate schools, business schools, law schools, etc. ? Or basically is straight out of undergrad school your only option? Are there any other ways to get into graduate schools and such?

Work or do research for awhile, and then go to grad school.

fancypants,

I second DespSeekPhD. You sound a bit young to be worrying about grad school.

yeah u got a good point, doesnt hurt to know early tho. Just a curiosity itch on my brain, thanx

The beauty of graduate school is that you can start any time and re-apply in future cycles if you aren't initially accepted. There is no standard age, especially for M.A. and PhD programs. I had a TA in college who was 45 and had spent 20 years as a lawyer before deciding to earn his doctorate in communications.

The students in my M.A. program range in age from 22 (right out of undergrad) to 35 (10 years of work experience before pursuing graduate studies).
