What grades are usually sent to colleges when you apply? Is it usually up to the end of senior year first semester? Will they know what AP classes I'm taking and such..will it matter at this point? Are you supposed to update your extracurriculars if important things happen after you submit your application?

Your transcript may not include your first semester of your senior year. This is why there are Midyear Reports available, so that when those grades are available, applicants can send them as soon as possible. Based on your application & transcript, they will know the AP and Honors classes that you have taken or are taking. If you're a senior, it does matter to some extent. Colleges can rescind your acceptance, so don't let senioritis take over yet. If important things do happen after submitting your application, you can still update your extracurriculars.

Yep. Although keep in mind that you do have to turn in end-year grades for places you get in to in order to show that you graduated. At this point, if your grades drop too much, you may be rescinded.

Not sure what you mean. They know what AP courses you took up till beginning of senior year. If you drop too many S2 senior year(as would be seen, probably, at end of year transcript), you may be rescinded. If you have a AP class start S2 senior year, it was probably indicated in your midyear report.

Yep, but like you said, probably limit this to the important things only.
