Hi, so I went to a public school in California for 9th and 10th grade and my GPA was calculated by the two semester grades. So I had two different grades for each class for the year.

Then, I moved to Florida and attended a public school. I just finished my junior year. However, grades here are different. There are semester grades, but there are also FINAL grades. Final grades are the two semesters grades averaged plus the average of the two final exams. This is a new idea for me.. having final grades.

However, what do colleges look at? I know that my 9th-10th grade grades will be looked about by semester grades. But at my new school in Florida, will colleges look at semesters or just final grades?

Thanks!
