<p>yeah i think "severed" is right. it could stand for either the chance or the moment and should be more specific. tough question.</p>
<p>1) The previous two posters are correct. "It" has no antecedent. The correct phrase would be "do so": ". . . if given the chance to relive the moment, would choose to do so."</p>
<p>2) On the Writing section, choices including the phrase "do it" (like choices including "being") are nearly always wrong.</p>
<p>Agree with lotf629... but I never saw any question like that on the SAT... they were all really straightforward questions.</p>
