Okay, two questions. I went to a private high school, and they give out a bunch of awards at baccalaureate every year to the senior class. I got the "Barbara and Elizabeth Byrnes Memorial Prize" for academic excellence and achievement. Who are Barbara and Elizabeth Byrnes? Your guess is as good as mine. Should I put that down in the honors section even though it's not obvious what the prize means, or should I just put down "prize for academic excellence and achievement"?

Secondly, they induct the highest achieving students in the senior class into the Cum Laude Society. I was inducted. On the Common App, does the Cum Laude Society classify as a school-level award, or international? The Cum Laude Society is in several countries, but I understand the participating schools are "charters," and each school chooses the inductees, rather than some international organization picking people out. Which is the best choice?
