Are Gemstone and Honors Humanities basically just more specialized versions of University Honors? If you're in Gemstone, for example, can you still take any of the honors classes you would take in University Honors? Is it basically just University Honors + extensive research? Because I'm trying to choose, and I'm not sure whether it would be best to go with University Honors since I'm an Undecided major, or whether I would be getting more of a "deal" with Gemstone or Honors Humanities. Thanks!

Yeah, Gemstone and Honors Humanites (as well as the two new programs) are more specialized programs within Honors.

Gemstone is different because Honors Seminars are not part of the required curriculum as GEMS classes replace the typical HONR courses, but you are still allowed to take seminars as electives or to satisfy CORE requirements. For HH I believe seminars are part of the required curriculum as well as the require ARHU classes and projects. I was in University Honors because as a freshman I was not interested in research and wasn’t invited to HH (they did things differently when I was admitted).
