<p>My daughter's application is very close to complete and ready to submit. The Honors section is a little bit unclear. To me, it suggests that whatever is typed into the box can be supplemented with a resume. However, my daughter reads this section as allowing a resume to be submitted in place of typing anything into the box. Does anyone have any insight into this? If not, I will call the admissions office tomorrow.</p>

<p>When I applied to the Honors college a few weeks ago I filled in the box and then supplemented. There is no harm in doing it that ways and having the same thing twice, although it is a bit more work as a student to enter it in. As I recall, the box on the application wants an estimate of hours per year, as well as a description of each activity and such. It might take a little while to come up with the numbers, but I think it is very helpful for the admissions officers to see just how committed/involved you are.
