<p>Is it better to room with someone you know or to go in blind? Also, the person that I would room with is not sure that they are going to go to Michigan next year. What happens if we are assigned a dorm and then they don't end up going there? Thanks for any help</p>

<p>it’s probably best to room blind. rooming with a friend makes it too easy to stay in your room and not go out and meet people. plus, if you don’t know the person, you are both going out of your way to respect each other’s space, but your friend . . . you might just be too comfy together.</p>
