<p>I was planning to TAG one UC next year and apply to a few others, but I see that TAG requires IGETC. However, IGETC needs a bunch of stuff like arts and humanities which I can't take because I need to complete all my engineering prerequisites. </p>
<p>Should I try to take all the classes I need or just not do TAG?</p>
<p>Some UCs do not require Igetc.I would email the school you are interested and ask them about TAg at Igetc. I can tell ou that you will be at a huge disadvantage when applying to UCs in November. But if you can tag to a UC, it shouldn’t be a problem. FYI, try posting at the UC transfer section. There is a lot more traffic there.</p>
<p>I’m pretty sure they recommend that students do not complete the IGETC that are engineering majors.</p>
