I applied Regular Decision to Wake Forest this year. However, I could not attend an in-person interview at their campus. I, therefore, did the online interview and did pretty well on it. Is it detrimental to my application as they strongly recommend the in-person interview. I would think not because they obviously created the online interview because there are enough people that cannot attend an interview in person. Can anyone let me know what they think?

it doesn’t adversely affect you. its the same weight as in person for the reason you gave. i did an online one as well. good luck!

I did an online interview as well (although I’m an international applicant so there’s no way I could have done an on-campus one) and was just accepted on Friday! So no, I don’t think it’s detrimental to your application in any way.

Is an interview, whether in-person or online required for acceptance. Anyone accepted without any interview for RD in the past?

I believe it’s required now that the SAT is not required - you can choose from a Skype, online written timed, or in-person interview.
