hey im from li too, and i got the same mail. i have no idea the likelihood, but i do know that another li-er on this board was told he/she would not have an interview. i would like to have an interview, but if i dont, im not TOO upset, because i had an on-campus one. why don't you see if you can schedule one of those?

My letter said that I may or may not have an interview also, but before i got the letter a local alumni called me to schedule an interview. If there is an interviewer available they will call you.
also, I believe that it is too late for an on-campus interivew.
If you don't have an interview it won't hurt you.

heaven............ unbelievable!!!!!! It even says how the admission process really works and which questions you are likely to be asked! I'm so gone use this! That is if I will be contacted....

Wow, that link from the Yale Alumni Committee was extremely informative, not just on the interview process, but on the entire admissions process. Very eye opening!

According to the Interviewer info., it says that candidates should call local ASC if they have not been called for an interview by mid-November (if Early Action). I received the blue paper with the name of the local ASC Director; however, I have not received a call for an interview. Should I make the call next week? (Monday is 11/14... Tuesday 11/15..i.e. mid-November!)

It says "Candidates are instructed to call the local ASC Director if they do not hear from a committee member by mid-November if they are Early Action applicants."

Hi guys, just to let you know, I live on Long Island also, and I got an email from an alum yesterday (Nov. 10). Yeah, you should probably call if you don't get one by next week.
