Question About Ir Career

<p>I am planning on majoring in IR.
Through, I want to work primarilly in business not in like UN or other diplomatic corporations. </p>

<p>In this case, is it better to go to colleges that have IR major(JHU/ Georgetown/ Tufts) or colleges that have IR concentration in Political Science major (Notre Dame or any other general schools)?</p>

<p>Would it have significant difference in my career in the future?</p>

<p>You should check out programs that are specificaaly designed for those folks who are interested in international business. These may be IR programs with that specific focus or even business programs with an international focus. for a representative program take a look at Fairfield's IR program which has two tracks---a business track and a international studies track.</p>
