<p>I will be attending IU in the fall as a freshman. </p>
<p>I have three questions regarding IUTV: </p>
<li>Can IUTV’s cable channels could be accessed in freshman dorm rooms?</li>
<li>If so, would we need to bring a TV and cable wire then? </li>
<li>I know that on Channel 8 it says WISH Indianapolis on CBS. Now can we only watch WISH TV or all the other CBS shows? That goes for all the other networks. Is it only that one specific show or the whole network?</li>

<p>IU’s cable is free in all dorm rooms. So are internet and local telephone, and wi-fi, too, I think by now in all dorms.</p>
<p>WISH-TV is the Indianapolis CBS affiliate. You will get all the CBS shows at the regular eastern time zone times at IU on WISH-TV channel, which is channel 8 in Indianapolis.</p>
<p>They probably already have a coaxial cable in the room. You might bring a regular coaxial cable just in case. You need your own TV, and unless it is more than like twenty years old, you will be able to get all the stations. You won’t need a converter box.</p>

oh and you dont have to “miss” your tivo. i stayed with a freshmen at mcnutt a few weeks ago who had a tivo in her room. i plan on bringing my DVR…</p>
