Question about "Laboratory Sciences"--does this count as one?

My school offers a rigorous elective entitled Advanced Premedical Studies....and my school lists it as a "Laboratory Life Science Course." Does this count? The reason I ask is because I haven't taken Physics. I've only taken Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, and now Premedical Studies.

Specifically I'm looking at Boston University, which requires "3 years of laboratory science." Do I fulfill their requirement? Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks.

You could call BU to ask in order to be sure, but given the title of the course, I think it does fulfill the requirement.

Thanks, Veryhappy.

Can anyone else answer my question? If not I guess I'll have to call them...

If your school definitely considers it a lab science, then I'm sure you can consider it as one./

yeah i think the whole "laboratory science" tag is to ward off kids who avoided actual science classes and took stuff like research + ethics which doesn't really count as a science.

that's true. I mean they just want you to take actual science classes
