Question about late materials

<p>I can't help but think that late materials will be detrimental to one's chances at colleges. For example, I sent in my January SATs, and I indicated I would be taking them, but they have not arrived at the colleges I sent them to. At this point, colleges are already making final verdicts. Will colleges put off your application until they GET everything? </p>

<p>I feel without my updated scores, I will be put in the reject pile (I already feel I am in there and my January scores will not be considered.)</p>

<p>It depends on the school. If their admissions page indicates they accept January test scores, then they will wait for your scores. If they say January scores may arrive too late to be considered, then they may not wait for the new scores.</p>
