I'm looking to go to law school after I graduate from UCSB. I have a 3.7 and haven't taken the LSAT yet. My main concern is that I got a C+ during my first quarter at school. How much negative effect does this C+ have on my chances of getting into law school? These are the law schools I'm looking to get into:

If your gpa has significantly improved since then, and you still have a solid GPA and LSAT score, along with the other stuff that accounts for about a fifth of the average law school's decision (if that), then the largest affect will be on your GPA.
