Question about learning communities

For any current or past OSU students, would it be weird to join a learning community outside of your major? I’m between the nursing LC which is my major, or SUSTAINS because I’m very into environmental conservation and want to make a difference. Both have dorms I’d want to live in, so that isn’t a deciding factor. Also, if anybody has been a part of either of these, please let me know how you feel about them! Very very torn right now.

I can’t tell you about them because I wouldn’t know, but I think nursing would be much more beneficial because veryone will be taking the same classes.

@soyunchico that’s what I was thinking as well. I guess I could always just join a student organization for environmental conservation too.

You could also try for a scholars program (if you applied) that covers that as well. My D is Pre-N but doesn’t live in the LC at Park-Strad for Nursing. There are a few other nursing students in her scholars group and she does study with some of them.
