Question about Legacy Circumstances

Yes: When applying as an undergraduate, having a legacy at any of the undergraduate or graduate schools helps you if you apply ED.

No idea how legacies are considered for admission to the graduate schools, but for any of the undergraduate schools, you will get a little boost in admissions no matter which specific school, graduate or undergraduate, your parent attended.

Trust me. I was asking all of the same questions about a year ago. My dad got his MBA (graduate) at Penn and I was definitely considered a “legacy applicant” even though I was applying to CAS… legacy applicants get a supplemental on-campus interview and advice from the Sweeten Alumni House, which I’m assuming helped my chances a bit.
