Question about legacy for UCLA

Hey just wondering if there's a part in the UC application where you can say you're a legacy? My family's been attending UCLA for generations (my grandfather was even a professor there) and it'd be really cool to go to UCLA too... is there a way where I can put that on the app cuz I don't see it in any of the sections so far.

I don't think the UCs care about legacy, that's more of a private college thing, but you could always put it in your personal statement section. If you really want to go to UCLA just make sure you work to have a high GPA, high SAT/ACT scores, and decent ECs.

Legacy/connections don't work at UCLA, buddy. Source: a friend's father began this well-known program at UCLA, his daughter didn't get in.
