I know that if you want to link your ACT score that you received by mail onto your student account on the ACT website, you have you use the ACT ID provided on the paper.
However, I was wandering if it's optional to use the score or not.
Our state gave all the juniors a free statewide ACT testing in April, but for some reason, I did much worse than when I took it at a regular National test date. Since the score I just received is not showing on my online account, is it possible to just disregard this score and not "count it"?
Or will colleges (for example like Stanford which asks you to send in all of your scores) still be able to see the score I received from this date (April)?
If you just trash this report and choose the option to send in a "set of your ACT scores" (scores from all of your test dates) to a particular college, will colleges just be able to see the scores I received excluding the April state-wide testing date?

Thank you!
