question about major courses that are not articulated at my college

im applying this fall to UCLA for A.E. btw, i realized that there are almost no threads relating

to my major in this forum, and i couldnt find answer to my questions.

my college, OCC, doenst have any engineering course that agree with the

lower division engineering courses at UCLA.

here are the questions.

1.does this mean i have to take those courses after i transfer? this idea scares me since there are 4 courses, not just 1 or 2. they will definately prolong my time to graduate.

2.can i take similar engineering courses, such as statics, etc, offered at my college
and get credit for them when i transfer?

3.I only took political science and anthroplogy for GE, and am planning to take history
next spring. should i take more GE classes or the engineering courses offered at my college in terms of being competitive for admission?

thank you.
