I got deferred from Northeastern and had chosen from the Business department Finance and IB-French. So now they are going to review my application in regular admission and I was wondering..
Would it be a bad idea to change my 2nd choice major?
Is it still possible to change it?
Is it easier to get into the Art and Sciences department than the Business?

Hey.. I got deferred as well from the Business School and yes it is much easier to get into Arts and Science. 7 Kids from my school applied and some real duds got into Arts and Science. I would love to switch schools as well. I really am not sure if its a possibility. I would appreciate any input as well.

Applying to one school with the idea of later applying to another, more competitive one can be quite tough. You might have to transfer to get into a business program, and that has its own sets of problems.

Now as someone who was deferred would it be alright to change the major of choice? I still want to go in regular admission for the Finance major but this time I wanted to change my 2nd choice to Anthropology because i'd be perfectly okay studying either of them.

But would it be a good idea if I did this?
Would my chances of acceptance in the second round go up or down?
