I’m entering UCSD this fall as a freshman and I’ve already completed up to calc III at a community college. I noticed that I already learned the topics in 20E even though my calc III class isn’t articulated to fulfill 20E (it only fulfills 20C). Is it possible for me to take the 20E fulfillment exam to satisfy credit for this class or am I forced to take 20E?
I also took calc III (although at a university outside of CA), and we covered all of the vector stuff; when I asked the Math department people at Triton Day about what my class counted for, they told me I could just take the 20E quiz/exam thing and get credit for both 20C and 20E. Of course, they’ve never evaluated this course from my specific university, so it’s a little more complicated for me, but it sounds like you’re in-state, so it should be fairly simple for you
