So this year I am taking dual enrollment classes through GMU in linear algebra and calc III and have had pretty much a high A all year. In high school I have also taken IB Math HL (my sophomore/junior years) and am taking the exam for that this year. The UVA website seems to indicate that a 5, 6, or 7 in IB Math HL will award credit for MATH 1310 (and I'm assuming the equivalent APMA 1090 course for the e-school), but doesn't really say anything about the calc II (MATH 1320/APMA 1110) class.

How exactly do I go about getting credit for calc I, II, and III?

(As a side note: I expect to get a 6 or a 7 on the HL Math exam.)

Thanks. :)

you can transfer the credit if it is college credit, however the eschool requires a placement test for everyone in math as far as I remember/understand so you’ll need to do well on that.

i transferred credit for calc ii and iii and diff eq through villanova, never transferred calc i. didn’t matter.

hazel - S2 is class of 2015 and a placement test wasn’t required. He sent AP scores and signed up for the appropriate course. I referred the OP to TH as the DE can get tricky.

Also for the OP, in looking further in the SEAS UG Handbook, under First year FAQ, I found the following:
