I was deferred by MIT, and I'm worrying about my senior year grades. My gpa for 9th-11th grade has been 95ish and my rank is 9/650. But this year, I'm taking all AP courses, and my grades are down quite a bit to an average in the 92-93 range. My class rank won't change, but I'm getting a couple of B's. I'm afraid this will affect my chances for MIT in RD round?

Good question. I honestly don't know. I think it MIGHT hurt you. But, it won't reject you automatically. I'm not sure.

dont sweat it honestly.

i have been worried about the same thing. I still maintain A or A- in the rest of my classes in my senior year, except for AP Chemistry, in which i got C+ in the fall term. but i think my winter mid-term will be improved signficantly.
