Question About Morrill Scholarship

Hello,

I am a new poster here, but I’ve been browsing the forum for a while now. A few weeks ago I received notification that I was accepted to OSU (yay!) and I completed my Morrill Scholarship Application around mid/end of November.

What are the average academic statistics (if such exist) of those who received the Morrill Scholarship?

Also, is there any other information about the scholarship that others could give that may be useful?

I regret that I have to wait until March to know their final answer :(

However, I would appreciate any information that someone might have.

Thank you SO much!

IMO, It's a screwed up scholarship program ... I live in appalachian ohio (about 1 kid gets it from my school each year) ... it seems like academics aren't even really a big factor in selection.

I know kids with 32 ACTs and 4.0 GPAs that didn't get it and students with 25ACTs and 3.5 GPAs get it instead.

I imagine it's based more on essays and other subjective things.
