<p>Okay I am an entering freshman at the uni and I called university housing about when move-in day was, he said saturday, but he also said I could move in any day of that week, friday, saturday, sunday, monday, tuesday, wednesday. Any day before thursday, the day when classes start</p>

<p>The dorms open for general move-in on Saturday. Classes do not start until later so technically you would not have to be there. I would recommend you move in on Saturday, because everybody will be anxious to meet their roommates and make new friends. You won't want to miss out on that time. Plus, there are a lot of activities going on and you will want a chance to get used to your living arrangements before classes start.
